  • Working too much

  • Escape work with virtual reality video game
  • Take a break and go outside or to a different place than your workspace for lunch
  • Get ready for work in the morning and walk around the block before you start your day to feel like you are starting work
  • Give yourself grace – it is okay to feel uncomfortable, it is okay to feel guilty, it is okay to get less accomplished…
  • Break up your day
  • Get families involved in the solution (ex: child making a sign for parent’s office door on when it’s OK to interrupt and when it’s not)

  • Provide counseling sessions for staff
  • Turn off the news / social media
  • Ask yourself, “What can I control today?”
  • Eat fewer donuts
  • Eat more donuts
